Yesterday I visited London, Paris and Italy via the blue hour. Brian Ferry is a New Yorker who lived, photographed and ate in London for two years before moving back to Brooklyn this year. His photographs have a quiet, contemplative, intimate mood to them. Going through the pages feels like being immersed in a deliciously enjoyable new novel, making you want to flip through the pages yet at the same time not wanting the story to end. Your visual senses are slowly and gently being taken over. And when I look up from the screen the whole world seems ordinary in comparison. Make yourself a good cup of coffee, snuggle under a wool blanket and enjoy.
